Advancing knowledge and understanding of the health landscape of the MENA region and the role of the private health sector

In 2018, SHOPS Plus and the Health Finance and Governance project assessed the state of and sources for health financing and the private health sector in 11 low- to middle-income countries in the MENA region. The assessment synthesized information from more than 250 sources from more than 50 key informant interviews. The assessment report includes regional and country-specific results and provides recommendations for future USAID investment.
