About Amy Power

Amy Power is the director of country programs for the SHOPS Plus project overseeing all field support programs. She has over 18 years of experience in international development, specifically in program management, business development, and strategic planning.  Power has managed complex programs with multiple funding streams, particularly for social marketing programs, providing programmatic and operational direction. She has led business development efforts for large global, regional, and country programs in the areas of HIV, maternal and child health, and family planning.  Power has a master's degree in international development and economics from Ohio University and a BS in business administration from the University of Arizona.
