About Awa Dieng

Awa Dieng is a Country Program Manager for SHOPS Plus project in Nigeria. She also provides technical support to the SHOPS Plus Senegal team on social marketing activities. Dieng is a global health professional with 10 years of experience in international development. Her background includes program management, capacity building, health systems strengthening, neglected tropical diseases and m-Health. She has experience working on USAID-funded projects in global health and has conducted numerous trainings in the sub-Saharan Africa region. Dieng holds a master's degree in public administration and a bachelor's degree in management information systems from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
