About Festo Komba

Festo Komba is a Capacity Building Coordinator for the SHOPS Plus project in Tanzania. He has over 6 years work experience in health care delivery, teaching health institutions and research in the healthcare field across the public, private and nonprofit organizations. His background includes working on capacity building, program management and clinical implementation for local and USG funded public health projects on HIV/AIDS, Family Planning, GBV and VAC, Key population, Substance Abuse and Safe Motherhood. Festo holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences in Tanzania. He has had the opportunity to study and practice at Umea University, Sweden.
