About Marianne El-Khoury

Marianne El-Khoury is the Madagascar Country Program Manager, the Middle East Region portfolio lead, and the Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation lead for the Francophone region on the SHOPS Plus project. She has over 11 years of experience working on USAID-funded projects in health systems strengthening, private sector health, and evaluation research. She has authored numerous publications on family planning, maternal and child health, and health financing. She is fluent in English, French, and Arabic. El-Khoury holds a master’s degree in public affairs from Princeton University and a master’s in economics from the American University of Beirut.
