About Mary Beth Hastings

Mary Beth Hastings is the project liaison for Iris Group, which leads gender integration for the SHOPS Plus project. She is a seasoned expert in gender and social inclusion. She has more than 20 years of professional and academic experience in sexual and reproductive health and human rights.  A skilled trainer and facilitator, Hastings is an accomplished designer of innovative and effective programs, activities, and events. She collaborates fluently across cultures, with experience managing international teams and coordinating international grants processes, workshops, and conferences. Hastings has a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree from The George Washington University.
