About Michael Sheshi

Dr. Michael Sheshi is the Expansion States Coordinator for the SHOPS Plus TB Program in Nigeria. Before working with SHOPS Plus, he worked as the PMDT Technical Advisor for the USAID-supported Challenge TB Project. In that capacity, he led the KNCV team in the clinical and programmatic management of drug-resistant tuberculosis in the supported states. He also worked previously as the Medical Adviser for The Leprosy Mission Nigeria, where he supported nine states in Northern Nigeria in the implementation of the Global Fund TB Project. Michael holds a Bachelor of Medicine from Ahmadu Bello University, an MPH, and a Master’s in Disaster Risk Management.
